@complex: South Korean running influencer Yoo Ji-won has died after collapsing just 500 meters from the finish line of a half-marathon in Seoul. The 25-year-old was competing in the 2026 Seoul Race on October 11 when she lost consciousness near the end of the course. Medical staff performed CPR before she was taken to a hospital, where she later died. Yoo was also a graduate student at KAIST researching Al semiconductors and had completed the Seoul Marathon in under three hours earlier this year.
