This attribute about Levi really came into fruition with his fight against the female titan. Arguably the most heartbreaking loss for Levi is when he loses his whole squad, passing by them one by one and seeing their corpses. The camera shots do such a good job hinting at his breaking point with his laser focus eyes staring down at a lifeless Petra… oh the heartbreak. Yet vengeance is the last thing on Levi’s mind even during this moment. Despite having Mikasa with him, who is blinded by fury, Levi is still honed in on his mission which is securing Eren’s safety.

He came from basically nothing, survived through what he thought was hell, became the strongest regardless of his obstacles and still became someone powerful, good, and a leader who could be counted on because he has such a level head
