@cnn: Multiple people, including children, were injured and a shooter is dead after gunfire erupted at an elementary school in Bend, Oregon, on Thursday, according to police. The shooter had already been shot and killed inside the school when police arrived at the scene at about 1 p.m., said Sheila Miller, spokesperson for the Bend Police Department.
