@slimwiththenews: An active shooter situation occurred today, October 15, 2026, at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, leaving the suspected shooter dead and multiple victims injured. The Bend Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at the campus around 1:20 p.m., prompting a massive law enforcement mobilization of over 100 officers. Police later confirmed that the suspect had been killed and that at least three victims, including children, were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The school and several surrounding campuses within the Bend-La Pine School District were immediately placed on lockdown. Authorities have established a family reunification site at Journey Church, located at 61303 S Highway 97, and are urging parents and families to gather there rather than trying to access the school grounds. While officials state there is no ongoing active threat, the public is strongly advised to avoid the area while the investigation continues. #silverrailelementary #bendoregon #newstiktok #truecrimetiktok #CrimeNews
