Question! I have a deck on my new house that was built in 2017. The last owner of the house never had the deck stained or painted. I plan on staining it but the wood is definitely not in this good of shape, am I better off just painting or what would be needed to get the best results with stain?

Overhaul :
All the areas that don’t get stained will be the first to Rock. Best to stay ahead of time and let dry will last forever.
