and i forgot to make a cup of tea :( (for the cinnamon & raisin bagel): - 75g strong white bread flour - 1tsp baking powder - 1tbsp melted butter - 1tbsp honey - 1tsp cinnamon - 2tbsp greek yogurt (you may need more or less depending on your yogurt) - a small handful of raisins (for the butter): - 75ml double cream - pinch of sea salt method: 1. begin by spooning the flour, baking powder and cinnamon onto a clean work surface in a neat pile. 2. mix roughly using a small spoon and make a small well in the centre, ensuring the flour stays relatively in its place. 3. pour the melted butter into the centre, followed by the yogurt and honey. 4. now gather all of the flour into the centre and begin mixing on the worktop until you begin the form a dough (at this point, add some more yogurt if it needs extra liquid to come together). 5. once you form a dough, knead gently for a few minutes until smooth. 6. form into a rough ball and use your thumb to make a hole in the centre. 7. begin stretching the hole carefully and forming a donut like shape. 8. once your happy with the shape of the bagel (bearing in mind it will puff up so don’t make the hole too small!), place onto a lined baking tray. 9. lightly brush with the beaten egg and bake for 20 minutes at 200c (180fan) or until beautifully golden. 10. meanwhile, pour the cream into a jar and close with the lid tightly. 11. shake for a few minutes until the cream has completely overwhipped and split (you may need to use a little whisk to finish it off). 12. strain the liquid through a sieve / cloth and mix the salt into the butter. pop to one side. 13. once the bagel has baked, wait a few minutes until cool enough to touch and carefully slice. at this point, you can lightly toast it if you like! 14. top with your homemade butter and enjoy with a cup of tea which i FORGOT :(… enjoy🤍🥯 ##teatime##bagel##EasyRecipes##yogurt##snack
