@melnasab: the best round I’ve ever had with Ruby 🧡🤎 I really believe in the power of positive language and the energy we bring into the ring. I’ve been making a conscious effort to talk to my horse throughout my rounds, encouraging him, telling him he’s a good boy, and reminding him how proud I am of him!! and it helps me just as much as it helps him. talking to him reminds me to breathe, keeps me present, and helps regulate my nervous system when the pressure kicks in. sometimes the biggest change starts with something as simple as the way we speak ☺️ and remember OGB! It Only Gets Better! this was from our 1.30m round last week in Temecula, clear & placed 4th 🤍 #equestrian #showjumping #horseshow #horsejumping #povride
