It's so stupid to act like we shouldn't vote in elections just because it doesn't further our goal enough. How about you do both? How about you try and make sure the worst politicians among them don't get elected and you also work on a socialist/communist revolution?

Lenin’s whole argument was explicitly about a revolutionary party. If you are going to participate in bourgeois elections it should only be with a genuine open workers revolutionary party, not confused big tent left parties like the peace and freedom party, Green Party etc

I live in a very rural community. it's gonna be red no matter what. I'm sorry but I'm going to be voting blue no matter who to show people around me that there are blue voters. luckily we have a very progressive guy running for Congress this year so I don't have to plug my nose and vote though

And putting a socialist candidate especially a third party will truly make you see how the system reinforces the two party system and its stupid elections! Here in Massachusetts a socialist state senate candidate is being blocked from debating the dem/rep candidate after meeting the financial and community demands of the broadcasting company.

How i see it…unless you’re on the frontlines actively sparking a revolution and its to a point where the entire system is changing or its possibly too dangerous for you to go vote because you’re a target or something along those lines just go vote and continue to have conversations with people until the masses are ready.
