As someone who never played a Nikki game before and joined at 2.0, I wasn't confused about the new intro. It made the weird side stories make sense rather than be weird side stories that make zero sense. I saw it as we're all Nikki, like everyone is Barbie. I don't think I would enjoy the game as much or still be playing if I was a 1.0 player. I thought WF was cheesy and boring.

FunFact :
I tend to forget Nikki has new players and not everyone has been around since day 1. Infinity Nikki was an unexpected beautiful surprise for me, that I will forever cherish. My inner child began healing in ways I could never imagine, never expected a game to do that. So if you are new player welcome, and if you left in 1.5 and want to jump back in, the community on TikTok is amazing.

i started playing in 2.0 (tried in 1.0, but my devices were NOT as powerful as they are now), and the itzaland story jumps leaps and bounds over wishfields imo. maybe it's because i completed it in a hurry to get to itzaland, but i hardly remember wishfields story at all lol 😭. not to say it was bad, but i found itzaland to be infinitely more captivating and actually engaging... the intro change is frustrating, but the writing has very clearly elevated. it's not perfect by any means but id also encourage those who gave up on it to try again

I will be honest I am still confused about the 1.5 intro change from the original. I finished the whole thing with Giovanni and cigdha before hand so it seems so odd to have a large random change in story.

honestly the only thing left from 1.5 is that the intro is still changed but all of us who started playing before it still count the 1.0 intro and we tell every new player to watch that intro on YouTube so it's not as big of a deal as it was then. No 11 piece 5 star was seen ever again and there haven't been game breaking bugs anymore either. If these were the reasons you left but you do miss the game now would really be the time to try again before we go to 3.0

I'm an Day 1 Player and I'm still in love with this game. My 2400+ hours have an reason. ❤️I love Nikki, the Outfits, all Stories and NPCs. So many emotions and how often I cried in the past cause they got me with sad storyline. I had never a game like this before. And I'm still here and going forward to exploring every new chapter. 🥹❤️

As a person who loved the game but dropped bc of 1.5, I recently returned and I'm so happy of how beautifully the game has changed. The outfits have improved a lot and the gameplay... oh wow, I love how many new mechanics they introduced and the archery, I LOVE IT, I'm so happy to have returned now. I'm sad bc of how many pretty banners I skipped just for not playing but I know they'll drop even better things from now on

regarding 1:46 calling the deer outfit the ONLY one thats 2 piece, im not sure if thats a mistake or if you meant “only one after 1.5” because the 1.5 mermaid is also a 2 piece

Actually we have two outfits with alternate details on the base outfit! The Born Flawless outfit can change the headwear and the back piece

the game changed so much since 1.5 it's insane and they definitely delivered every update since, even tho I'm so excited for 3.0, I'm also so excited for 2.11 from what the leaks gave

I love Infinity Nikki! I've been playing since it launched in December 2024. I took a short 2 month break during the 1.5 update, but otherwise, I've been playing daily and recommend it to anyone who will listen.

Remembering how close I was to quitting after 1.5 because my phone couldn't handle the game anymore with all those bugs, is struggled all the way throu music season but slowly they fixed a lot of bugs and I was able to continue playing with my old phone until I got a new and better one. I won't pretend the optimization for mobile is perfect cause sometimes even high end phones have some problems but the way they recovered from 1.5 amazes me
