it will always be hard, no matter what, even if you have a “perfect” man, mainly bc perfect doesn’t exist…but even if ur married to a man that has all the qualities, it will be hard, bc being married to a person who grew up different than you, who society treats differently than you, who was socialized different than you - will be hard to live with no matter what. Having to compromise with another person, man or woman, will always be hard, and there is no way to not do that in a marriage if you want it to work. Marriage itself is just a system set up for you to either fail or suffer.

I believe ppl (especially women) who say marriage is hard fall into one of these categories: 1. They married someone they had to raise again; 2. Married bc it was the next thing to do; 3. Married before knowing her own values and who she is.
