In almost all U.S. jurisdictions, you must pass a bar exam and be officially admitted to a state bar to be considered a licensed lawyer or attorney.

Are we supposed to act like it makes sense that a question that simple would require consulting “for a very long time, many people in the field.” As a “rigorous researcher” you’d think she could have found the correct answer on her own pretty quickly.
