People think I was actually installing Debian Linux, but what I really did was go to Debian's website, download the .ISO file, then I flashed it onto a USB stick which I booted into from the BIOS screen. Then, I filled out all the information it asked for, and clicked "install". After about 15 minutes, I rebooted my computer, and Debian was right there waiting for me as if I had really installed it.
