Hold on (also I like writing): it had been a month. The girl has come across my statue. Her hair may have been auburn, or perhaps a new color choice. From the way she talks to the stone she sits at. She quite often changes her look. She has taken a gander at me. Yet posed no interest. A few days later, she came back with flowers. Her pace would slow the moment she stepped closer out of curiosity. Her eyes were like like the sun. Bright and beautiful. She posed no threat to me. But left a single flower. As I recall, it was her favorite. A week gone by and she came back again. Swollen eyes and cleaning away the headstone she called family. It aches to see her this way. And I do not have a heart to beat, but if it did. I somehow allow it for her. The next day, she came back again. For me. Sitting there with an odd thing in her hand. She calls it a phone. Some form of device that allows the knowledge of the world. It poses a threat to me as a light graced my posture. If I could move, I'd hope it was forbidden to others to see. But it's a tender moment to know that she comes to see me as well. A week, she didn't return. A hollow ache inside, she came in tears. Some odd formidable man who graced her presence was a fool. If I could, his soul would be given away. A torturous feeling in my mind. Yet I envy the air that can touch her. Five days in, she came back proud. Possessing a paper. And showing to her long forgotten family that she had finished her schooling. Dare I say.. a very questionable career choice. Yet, even I am proud of her. A week later, she came to see me. Smiling and telling me her ventures across the world. Her smile was radiate. And the way her hair framed her face. But this wretched curse, if only I could kiss her. Hold her. Tell her how I could move the moon for her. To tell her that no star in the galaxy could compare. Or how.. not even a poor man cursed soul could even deserve her. She came back tonight, so genuine when she sits beside my stone. How her soft hands rested beside mine and spoke about the missing part of her. Yet, my stone heart ached. To my shock...
