@apeachhouse: I’m turning a GIANT skeleton into a GIANT Jesus! 🙌 This oversized DIY Christian art project is part sculpture, part giant decor, and part faith filled creative experiment and I finally made the decision everyone has been asking about. The eyes are not going to be blue. They’re also not going to be brown. They’re going to be bronze. I’ve decided to finish the entire sculpture in a warm bronze-gold tone, which means the eyes will be sculpted and painted to match a statue look instead of trying to look like realistic human eyes. Think more golden-brown, antique bronze, sculptural finish. After going back and forth over the animated blue LCD eyes versus realistic brown eyes, this actually feels like the strongest artistic direction. It keeps the face cohesive, gives the whole piece a more timeless statue-like look, and lets the eyes feel intentional instead of like a compromise. So yes a decision has officially been made. Bronze eyes. Bronze Jesus. 🤎 Follow along as I keep sculpting, shaping, and transforming this giant skeleton into a giant Jesus. #GiantJesus #DIY #christiancrafts #giantdecor #christmascrafts
