this is called size error! its developmentally normal - kids at this stage cant tell how big/small they are, leading to them sitting in doll chairs or like that video of the girl afraid shed fall through the cracks in the deck - or thinking theyre too big and wont fit in a normal chair

i actually learned bc i’m in school for ece and kids genuinely think they are that small like they don’t realize they are actually bigger than the item that’s why kids are always trying to sit in their toys 😂

Oh yes the phase of “if I fits I sits” my toddler used to love her sisters lol dollhouse accessories, she’d pull up that couch to watch tv like she was just going to relax on it

This is very normal to child development. They see a toy of a real life thing they know they fit in. Baby sees bed, baby knows she fits in bed, baby sat. I work in preschool and have a girl who tries sitting on the Barbie’s couch all the time

At least I know it's not just mine lol. How cute! I went to the bathroom all of 2 mins and came back and my daughter was stuck in her baby dolls high chair screaming "I stuck-ed mommy."
