This is most likely why Jason can be hurt but never put down for good. He can't regenerate, but he is like a tank. He can absorb WAY more damage than a normal human, that's why that big axe scar in his head from the end of F13: Part III and Part IV has never healed. That also goes for those stab wounds from the fence pole from Part VI: Jason Lives, his blind eye that he got after Corey Feldman's Young Tommy Jarvis swung the machete into the left-hand side of Jason's skull, his zombie-like and forever-rotting skin and flesh, his face deformation, how he survived the cryogenic freezer malfunction from Jason X, how he never drowned in the first place in 1957, how he survived being chained to lakes bottom at the end of Part 6, returning there at the end of Part 7: The New Blood, etc.. He doesn't regenerate, he absorbs any damage done to him. that's why he was only able to possess people with his soul in Part IX (which means 9 in Roman numerals): The Final Friday - Jason Goes To Hell. All of this is what was coming up on that computer in Jason X when they were thawing Jason out of ice. 🤯

I binge watched the entire series, and I love that they give you empathy of who he was and how he was made, and how his body went from like being a kid to a man so fast like they show you everything which I loved I loved the full circle moment. It’s a good series like I recommend it 10 out of 10. Can’t wait for another season.
