Can u explain what happen to the tech devices of a detainee? Such as confiscated, donated, kept in store under one’s belongings, etc ?

Honestly, this is the most stressful thing I have ever experienced. Sadly, my partner is going back to brazil even though he had a social, work permit, ID and a pending asylum. Never caused any problems. I believe this is a money scheme because what do you mean people have to pay a 5-20k bonds?!?!? Ice agents are so rude and dont care and especially when they transfer them to different facilities.
