@julietholness: It was a pleasure spending time with the Grade 5 students at Hillel Academy as part of their Heritage Week celebrations and their Nation Builders session. We spoke about what nation-building really looks like, and I shared some of my own experience serving in Parliament to help them see how different roles contribute to Jamaica’s development. More than anything, I wanted them to leave knowing that they do not have to wait until they are older to make a difference. Through the way they learn, lead, help others, and care for their communities, they are already helping to shape Jamaica’s future.
