@joncobbgh: “WHEN THE WEAK STANDS BEFORE THE STRONG, THE WORLD COUNTS NUMBERS; BUT WHEN THE WEAK CALLS UPON GOD, FAITH LOOKS BEYOND NUMBERS. King Asa understood that the greatest disadvantage in a battle is not having fewer soldiers, fewer resources, or fewer connections; it is attempting to fight while depending entirely on your own strength. He did not deny the multitude. He simply refused to make the multitude greater in his mind than the God to whom he prayed. There is a level of faith that does not require you to pretend the enemy is small; it requires you to remember that the enemy is not God. Never measure the possibility of your victory solely by the strength of what confronts you. Measure your confidence by the faithfulness of the God in whom you trust. For when your strength is insufficient, humility teaches you to seek help; when your resources are inadequate, wisdom teaches you to depend on God; and when the odds appear unfavourable, faith reminds you that human limitations are not the boundaries of divine power. The multitude may be greater than your numbers, but it is never greater than God’s sovereignty. THE DEEPEST REVELATION IS THIS: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE THE STRONGEST PERSON IN THE BATTLE TO REMAIN FAITHFUL, COURAGEOUS, AND HOPEFUL. YOU MUST KNOW WHERE YOUR HELP COMES FROM. — Inspired by 2 Chronicles 14:11
