Take care of you. Surgery is a big deal and resting is not weakness.

Let the kids come visit you and see their costumes and fuss over them and then go back to the couch. See them after with all their candy hall. You don’t need to go anywhere.

The first year after a hysterectomy- I would “hit the wall “ every 3 months - I found out that was common- like I wanted to do all the things but my body couldn’t. The no energy is your body spending all of your energy on healing. It takes a bit to once again feel like yourself totally. Sending 🩷

I remember going into the city last Christmas season at around 7 weeks post op. By the time we got back to the LIRR to go home I was in tears from the exhaustion and pain from over doing it.

I had a hysterectomy when I was 47. I had two great exist that screwed up my intestines. It took him 2 1/2 hours to put me back together again. I can’t sit still either. I did laundry down the stairs and another set of stairs. My incision was from my breast to my belly button.

I know it’s very painful I had fat removed from my abdomen to fill in areas after a double mastectomy and that abdominal surgery was more painful than the double mastectomy surgery… feel better soon [Red heart]

I'm definitely the same way Gia. having Hashimoto's and especially with surgery or any type of inflammation and especially with that type of surgery will definitely cause your thyroid levels to rise because of the inflammation. hopefully they can adjust any medication to make you feel better. I know how exhausting that can be. my only suggestion is and I'm sure you're pretty much doing it, is eat as clean as you can, gluten-free I know f****** boring, rest, hydrate reduced caffeine I know f*** you Laura LOL. I hope you feel better sweetheart and enjoy your time with your family. but don't forget to take care of yourself so then you can move around cuz I know that's how I am I just can't f****** sit still sometimes or most of the time at all.
