Be a vessel for The Kingdom of God ✝️ ~ From the Lord to you: You will never fully understand the depth of the ocean until you have been lost at sea. From the seashore, the waves look poetic, manageable, and so beautiful, but everything changes when you are no longer just watching the water and you find yourself inside it instead. When you can not see land, when your strength is thinning, and when your prayers stop sounding polished and start sounding desperate, there is a difference between a hard week and a season where your sense of direction simply disappears, and I will tell you something about that deep water: it can teach you what the shallows never could. Being lost will humble you in ways comfort never would have; it will strip away your pride, and it will quiet the quick opinions you once had about other people’s pain, because once you have fought to keep your own head above water, you stop judging how someone else is swimming. You start to see how many people may smile in public while privately gasping for air, and it softens you, making you more discerning, more prayerful, and more loving. That is what the deep does; it does not only test you, it reshapes you. And here is what I most want you to understand: you did not learn depth by talking about it, you learned it by surviving it, by living through nights that felt like they would swallow you whole, and by discovering that even when you were certain you were drowning, I was holding you the entire time. The ocean was never going to take you under, because I was in it with you, and I was teaching you something you could not have learned any other way: I was teaching you how to float. So now when you speak about the struggle, you do not speak from theory, you speak from survival. And that is why what you specifically carry can reach people the comfortable never could.
