@fionamaefit: i hateee that it takes so long to go to bed too and you’re uncomfortable the entire time in bed. #29weekspregnant #pregnancy #pregnant #newmom #youngmom
Honestly never related to a tiktok more in my life than I do right now lol it starts creeping in at like 5-7pm and peaks until I pass out from exhaustion 🥲

I’ve been taking unisom since 5 weeks to help with nausea. And it helps just knock me out. Plus started Pepcid by third tri. No heartburn sleeping thankfully with that

My best piece of advice is to find a distraction. Games help for me. Whether it’s stardew valley or animal crossing on my switch or sudoku on my phone. Or a tv show even. Just something to take your mind off of how you are feeling until your eyes get heavy enough to fall asleep

For me whenever I wake up from sleeping in the middle of the night, I get pregnancy shakes where I have to wrap myself up in blankets to get warm. Then I have to control my breathing and the shakes eventually stop.

Honestly the biggest thing that helps is playing block blast, and listening to my fav music because the anxiety is unreal🫠

Try Unisom (doxylamine)!! I took it all the time at night my last two trimesters because I struggled a lot too. You may feel groggy in the morning but it genuinely helps so well with the anxiety and sleep quality.

I’m scared at night too and now my blood sugar keeps bottoming out while I’m asleep and my Dexcom is waking me and alerting me that it’s urgently low.

I’ve taken a half of a 25mg of doxylamine my whole pregnancy. My OB prescribed it and told me it’s completely safe. (The whole thing leaves me too groggy the next morning) I’d ask your OB about it! Without it I’d probably have a panic attack and not sleep every night 😅🙃

Hmmm maybe try getting into hobbies? Things that can take up some time but also calming? Hot shower could help too! When I get anxious I have to look in the mirror sometimes and tell myself I’m okay! Grounding techniques might help too! Theres a lot of those you can do but I’d look some up and try stuff out until you find something that works for you! Vitamin D or any supplement would be good too! 💖 hang in there beautiful!
