@proper_foty_talks: Elite clubs have invested enormous amounts in building their squads. Why should PSG be criticised simply because they have enough quality to rotate players in domestic matches and keep their strongest options fresh for the Champions League? If you have the financial resources to build a deep squad but fail to recruit intelligently, that is a sporting and recruitment problem not automatically PSG's fault. Smaller clubs have every right to question the growing financial gap in football. But when wealthy clubs with massive spending power start complaining about another wealthy club having squad depth, we need to ask a different question: is the problem really PSG's squad, or is it that their rivals haven't built theirs as effectively? Financial regulations should apply fairly to everyone. But having a deep squad isn't a crime, and competing on multiple fronts is precisely why clubs invest in depth in the first place. You cannot spend hundreds of millions building a squad and then complain that another club has enough quality to rotate. First the narrative was because playing in Ligue 1 makes them too soft for Europe and now that they're cooking everyone, it's Ligue 1 is too easy so they get to rest 😭 The goalpost moving is insane, just admit they're good Regulate what exactly, rotating your squad? PSG aren't cheating, they're just in a league so weak they can rest Dembélé and Vitinha and still win it by October, while a PL side resting stars drops points to Brentford. The fix isn't punishing PSG, it's Ligue 1 actually being competitive, so are we really blaming them for a gap their own money helped create?
