i feel like this video is actually so important, school shootings are so common now and when you see it on the news you’re like oh fuck another one but this really shows what the community is going through during those terrifying moments, like the rushing buses, the families, teachers, the police. it’s so terrible.

i wish we had a program nation wide that helped veterans get security jobs in schools. it would be a great way to help vets transition to civilian life and offer some positive role models and a sense of safety for our kiddos and educators.

I celebrated my sons 8th birthday today. Someone else is grieving their 8 year old at the same time. My heart feels so crushed for the families affected by this terrible, awful crime. It aches. 😭

I work at a middle school in oregon (not bend) .. we practiced an earthquake and a lock down drill today... and then I seen this on my phone, the news about those babies. im heart broken for them and their families
