it will go on, but you won't be able to pull from the center. You still have to pull from the outside. To use my center pull skeins, I choose to use a yarn bowl or a bucket.

I love mine! I bought mine from my local yarn shop. It does not work for center pull yarn though. You will have to pull from the outside.
