shalom. actually, I would argue that it is an ancient Jewish Text. The authors were Jewish, written for a Jewish audience. 🙏

Jesus was Jewish, every disciple was Jewish, Paul was Jewish. The continuity exists because it’s the word of YHWH the El-Shaddai. Jesus did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. He was prophesied by David and Isaiah and Daniel at length

no disrespect, just my pov.. new testament is like fanfic - ofc things are going reference the source... that doesnt make it legit in itself. the biggest issue for me is the erasure of the torah commandments via the new testament. why would Hashem tell us to obey these commandments and then his son comes and is like nah dont worry about that, just follow me and you're good... like eh, idk, that rubs me the wrong way... also the Messiah is supposed to uphold the Torah and bring more people to upholding the Torah.. so at its core, if it goes against it's own precedent, I can't reconcile that and personally will never be able to get on board with the new testament.
but I respect and love Christians despite disagreeing.

Christianity is very much built on the foundation of Judaism. Were it not for the Roman wars on Judea, there would probably still be fully Torah-abiding churches who considered themselves both fully Jewish and d fully Christian.

The entire NT is jewish besides Luke and Acts. they were all Jews including Yeshua himself, he was very religiously jewish. Paul was a pharisee of pharisee as well. check out the translation called CJB Complete Jewish Bible

Because…Christ was a Jew…the whole point of the New Testament is an evolution of the Abrahamic law

Read it along with a resource that explain it like a good commentary, you definitely missed soooo many references to the OT, but reading it without the spirit or understanding of it your going to miss those things, I would bet alotnofnmoney that every single time you reread it your going to make new connections

Christ is the fulfillment of the Law of Moses. He is Jerusalem in Heaven and he opened the tribe of Israel to all men of all nations in one holy, catholic and apostolic Church. The authors of the Bible were ethnically Jewish but they were practicing Catholicism not Judaism.
