Both my parents died from lung cancer. My mom never smoked. My dad did but quit after she passed and never did in the home. There were high levels of radon found in our family home growing up.

My mother lives in Cheyenne Wyoming. Wyoming is known for radon. She was diagnosed with a slow growing lung cancer. They never tested for radon until her dx. 15 years with high basement radon levels. I'm convinced

Ughh my aunt was never smoked. Just got diagnosed with a tumor in her brain and it’s actually skin cancer, which is crazy and she’s never been in the sun either. Now, they found a spot on her lungs. I wonder if it’s going to be lung cancer related or is it gonna be the same type of melanoma? Anytime people get cancer in my family it’s always confusing. My mom got ovarian cancer, but it didn’t form in her ovaries so it was called peritoneal cancer.

I’m probably in trouble. I’m a non smoker but my dad, his dad and his 4 other siblings died from lung cancer, as smokers. I think about it often.

My father died from lung disease & never smoked in his case he just always had bad lungs, had asthma, repeated bouts of chest infections, pneumonia, impoverished upbringing & later poor working conditions didn't help, died at 52.
