Both were killed by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis in January 2026. Their lives mattered before their names became national headlines, and they still matter after the news cycle moves on. Their loved ones deserve answers supported by evidence, a transparent investigation, and accountability for any unlawful actions. They deserve to know that time passing will never make these deaths less important. Remembering them means continuing to ask what happened, following the investigations, and refusing to let public attention disappear when the headlines change. No badge should place someone beyond scrutiny. No family should have to fight alone to have their questions heard. We can keep saying their names. We can support peaceful demands for justice.
