@oiboii89: #poetry The Ghost of Your Memory The ghost of your memory still haunts me. I’ve forgotten you, but not the damage you left behind. You played with my heart like a child’s toy, filled me with hope, then tossed me aside. I was like a disposable tissue: you used me to wipe away your tears, and when you no longer needed me, you threw me in the trash without a thought for the wounds you left behind. You made me believe I was special, only to treat me like I was replaceable. And though time has passed, some wounds still refuse to heal. No, I haven’t healed… but I don’t wish you revenge. Life has a memory, and karma never loses count. Because everything you send into this world finds its way back to you. And when you’re left picking up the pieces of everything you chose to break, perhaps you’ll remember my name… I may have forgotten your face, but life will never forget what you did.
