I’m all against animal abuse and cruelty and fully support vegans and there decisions but meat will always be my favorite food and vegans just have to accept that pigs would also eat a human and that every animal that we eat on this planet wouldn’t even give a second thought before eating a human. Animals are not just a food source for humans either they benefit our planet so that’s another reason we shouldn’t just be brutally killing them off.

A veces pienso hasta dónde puede llegar la crueldad humana y me doy cuenta de que no tiene límites. No hay animal que se salve, ni salvaje ni doméstico, ni grande ni pequeño, ni bonito ni feo. Matamos perros y gatos en las calles, los abandonamos como si fueran basura, los encerramos en laboratorios para probar cremas y champús, criamos vacas y cerdos en granjas industriales donde nunca ven la luz del sol solo para comérnoslos, cazamos elefantes y rinocerontes por sus colmillos y cuernos, talamos bosques enteros donde vivían miles de especies, destruimos océanos con nuestra basura y nuestros barcos, y ni siquiera los insectos se salvan, los aplastamos por asco, los envenenamos por fastidio, acabamos con colonias enteras de abejas que son esenciales para la vida sin pensar en las consecuencias. Y lo peor de todo es la falta de empatía, esa capacidad de ver sufrir a otro ser vivo y no sentir nada, o peor aún, justificarlo. Porque al final el problema no es solo lo que hacemos, sino que hemos normalizado tanto el dolor ajeno, el de los animales y el del planeta, que ya ni siquiera nos cuestionamos si está bien o mal. Y mientras tanto ellos siguen sufriendo en silencio, esperando a que algún día despertemos y entendamos que no somos los dueños del mundo, sino una especie más que ha olvidado cómo compartirlo.
