Medic here. I got u girl! Every cell in the heart can create its own electrical impulse. Sinus = SA node is the only one. Afib= other cells have gone rogue and a bunch are all trying to “talk” at the same time. This creates an irregular rhythm. Afib RVR = “rapid ventricular rate” aka “fast as fuck boyyyy”

My besties father in law runs a cardiology surgery center and used to be the chief of cardiology at a university hospital. I went to him to help with cardiology in medic school and now I’m more educated on cardiology than most of the ER docs I work with 😂 (said by them not me).

Truthfully he could explain it 100 different ways and it wouldn’t matter. You won’t get cardiology until that one particular explanation that works for you makes it click. You can only dumb it down so far at some point it becomes so dumbed down that it’s incomprehensible
