@aiishadahir: The last verse of Al-Baqarah holds four requests. Every one of them was answered with "Yes." When 2:284 was revealed, the companions came to the Prophet ﷺ, knelt, and said: "We cannot bear this." He told them to say "We hear and we obey," and they did. Then Allah revealed 2:286. The four requests: 1. Our Lord, do not hold us to account if we forget or make a mistake. 2. Our Lord, do not lay on us a burden like the one You laid on those before us. 3. Our Lord, do not burden us with what we have no strength to bear. 4. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelieving people. After each one, Allah said: نَعَمْ ("Yes"). [Sahih Muslim 125] And the Prophet ﷺ said that whoever recites the last two verses of Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him. [Sahih al-Bukhari 5009] Recite them tonight. Save this so you remember, and send it to someone who needs it. 🤍 #Quran #AlBaqarah #Dua #Islam #IslamicReminders
