Why cut on both sides of the foam to get two small pieces, instead of cutting from one side and ending up with one slightly larger piece left over? 🤔 It turned out really nice, though! 😊

As a florist, a few notes: • when soaking the foam: fill a clean vessel (like a bucket) with cold water and without force place the foam on top. it will soak through on its own. if you apply pressure (e.g. by holding it under water) the foam won't soak up water and will stay dry • once soaked, wrap the bottom of the foam in plastic foil and tape it tight. Without this the foam is going to leak onto the pumpkin and your surface
