For so long, I've tried to stay strong, to hold on, and to believe that things would get better. But lying in this hospital bed, fighting through days filled with pain, fear, and uncertainty, has become one of the hardest battles of my life. I'm exhausted in ways words cannot explain. Sometimes, I hardly recognize the person I've become. My heart is hurting, my mind is overwhelmed, and my soul longs for peace. Hearing that my cancer is spreading has made everything even more difficult. I keep asking God why I'm going through this, wondering if I've done something wrong without realizing it.
