@masterplanner512: #PublicNotice GRA has not introduced a new tax on digital subscriptions or increased the applicable tax rate. The obligation already exists under Ghanaian law. What is changing is how these transactions are captured, how the tax is collected, and how revenue is accounted for. The new system is designed to give GRA greater visibility over qualifying transactions and improve compliance among digital service providers. Where the applicable tax is already included in a payment, it should not be charged again. Providers that have not been collecting the tax will be required to comply with the existing law. GRA is working with the relevant service and payment providers to ensure the system is implemented accurately and consumers are protected against duplicate charges. #GRA #DigitalVAT #TaxAdministration #RevenueMobilisation

The owner of the app isn’t even selling it, yet you want to sell its usage? Even if they are selling it over there, it might be understandable because they don’t have mineral resources. But that shouldn’t be imposed on Ghana, because we have abundant mineral resources and many other natural resources that we can use to generate revenue.
