@ghbrain_: The Ghana Police Service, in collaboration with the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA), is intensifying public education ahead of the November 1, 2026 launch of the #TRAFFITECH-GH automated traffic enforcement project under the Road Traffic Regulations 2026 (L.I. 2519). Speaking during a sensitisation presentation, a road safety expert urged drivers to observe the speed limits under Regulation 211, stressing that they must reduce their speed to 30 km/h near schools, churches, mosques, hospitals, markets and other areas with high human activity, even in the absence of speed limit signs. He outlined the general speed limits as 50 km/h in urban areas, 90 km/h outside urban areas and 100 km/h on motorways, warning that failure to comply could increase the risk of road crashes. - #ghbrain

See the way he is talking… does the Ghana police as professionals think forcing things on people makes them look to be working or what…? how can you tell us that road sign is not important but the landmarks rather serve at speed limit signs….aaaah Ghana paaaa…. Does he even understand the meaning and purpose of signage and indicators 😰😰😰🌚🙆🏿♀️Because they know they cant chase authorities to do the right things they will rather fall with the politicians and oppress the people so they can be paid ☹️🥲😪 Shameful

What does the law say about road markings? Isn’t the road suppose to be divided by road markings ?

Nothing he's saying make sense, if I see a mosque, school or market how do I know which speed limit should I go. just fix things that's supposed to be fixed get the roads worthy for our cars then you implement all these rules.

On a long stretch at Kasoa there can be 20 churches along the street. So must I just reduce my speed to 30? What is the country called Ghana doing about how churches are planted? Churches everywhere among others. We can’t eat our cake and still have it. In making laws take the holistic path and not just one lane
