this doesn't make a single thing of sense the first story is the only real one if you compare this dumb written story to the first movie it wouldn't make sense and also he's a mommy's boy and he would never do this to his mother and also in the first childhood story makes the most sense bc they bullied him and threw him in the lake and it's also way more sad

Jason never killed his mom, she was the one convincing him to kill until she was killed

No Jason never killed his mother the final girl did, Alice. She literally beheads her. Then after that is when Jason starts killing for revenge.

If you watched the movies then you would know his mother was everything to him and that was his weakness

Dude, the one and only person Jason loves is his Mom, he would never kill her no matter what version of Jason we're talking about, and that was the moment he recognized her.

Jason didn’t kill his mom in the original movies he’s driven to kill by her spirit, how would it make sense for him to kill her? they aren’t gonna change that it’s a core aspect of the character

My take is that the trauma that caused his body to age faster and become stronger messed with his brain. He doesn't speak anymore either, so I'm guessing his memories were also affected, he didn't remember his mom at first but then he recognized her.
