(The kitchen is clean now!) 👉 I’ve read three chapters. (Focus on how much I’ve finished.) ✅ Present Perfect Continuous (have/has + been + -ing) We often focus on the activity, duration or process, especially when something has been happening over a period of time. 👉 I’ve been cleaning the kitchen. (Focus on the activity, not necessarily the result!) 👉 I’ve been reading for two hours. (Focus on how long I’ve been doing it.) 💡 Compare these: I’ve written five emails. = Focus on the result.
