well this comes with assuming that the people who aren't voting do other work to organize. a lot of the people voting 3rd party or choosing to not vote are actively getting involved with different groups and organizations to make change in a different way. it's also ridiculous to shame people for not voting when you don't understand that if someone has been hurt by the system, by the party that claims to care about them, they won't want to vote. It's not being privileged, it's realizing that no matter who they vote for the system is going to screw them.
