@news.studio2: Sylvester Stallone Says He Has “Millions of Regrets” About Doing His Own Stunts and Warns Others to Let the Pros Do It Sylvester Stallone, 80, looked back on his career in a Fox News Digital interview published Tuesday, Oct. 13. He said he has “Millions, millions of regrets.” He said he has been injured “many, many times.” One set still leaves a mark. “After Expendables, I ended up with nine back operations, three neck fusions,” he said. He also mentioned both shoulders and his eye. He said he has never been “quite the same.” He added, “Now you have to make peace with the pain as much as you can.” One regret is that he didn’t “let other people do their job.” His advice is clear. “I know a lot of people are thinking about doing stunts ... don’t. Don’t,” he said. “Let the pro do it.” He explained why. “You cannot beat gravity. When you hit the ground, you lose, and it’s going to come back.” He also compared the toll on his body to that of pro athletes. He said he’s not “proud that I broke myself in pieces.” This is not the first time he has talked about it. In an October 2025 GQ interview, he said Demolition Man had “the two most dangerous stunts I’ve ever done.” One involved a giant claw with hydraulics. The other involved a tub that filled with warm oil while the lid was bolted on. Tulsa King season 4 premieres Oct. 16 on Paramount+.
