Over roughly 18 months as an SDR, he: 🔥 Hit 200% of target in Q1 🔥 Completed his full-year target early 🔥 Reached President’s Club 🔥 Started helping newer SDRs 🔥 And now earned his move into an AE role But what I’ve enjoyed most hasn’t just been watching the numbers go up. It’s been watching the conversations change. We went from talking about prospecting, account strategy and hitting SDR targets... ...to discovery, working effectively with AEs, understanding bigger accounts and what he needed to develop to make the next step. I asked Mike today what advice he’d give another SDR who wants to become an AE. His answer was simple: Leave your ego at the door. Be open to feedback. Stay consistent, especially when it gets hard. That probably sums up his journey pretty well. The promotion is his. He did the work. I just got the privilege of being in his corner for part of the journey. Proud of you mate.
