i truly feel for you. I'm not in Australia but Scotland. My area won't pay for 24/7 support in the community if it's cheaper to place you in a care home. I'm 31 and now living in a care home

I 100percent agree with you. why can't the government understand that they should be helping us as parents and families to keep our loved ones at home with us, that us how they would save money, not the other way around. They would need 24 hr care, that is 3 full-time staff per day per person !! then accommodation, transportation, food and other cares 😔

I so hear you! I am so scared too for when they will cut 50% of community participation funding for my level 3 autistic 19 year old daughter. They are cutting funding from people who actually need it and not from the people that are frauding the government which makes me sick to my stomach. Sending you so much strength 🩷🌸🌿
