@oniichanhq: Mortal Kombat Legend and JAG Star Trevor Goddard Passed Away Twenty Three Years Ago at just 40; He Would've Turned 64 If He Was Still With Us 🖤 Trevor Goddard only had a little over a decade on screen, but one performance left a permanent mark on an entire video game franchise. As Kano in 1995’s Mortal Kombat, his swagger, humor, rough-edged delivery, and distinctive accent became so closely associated with the character that later games adopted an Australian identity for Kano. Outside Outworld, Goddard became familiar to television audiences as Lieutenant Commander Mic Brumby on JAG and built a résumé filled with mercenaries, soldiers, criminals, and other tough characters. His final theatrical appearance came as Grapple in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, released shortly after his passing. Some of his memorable roles include: Kano (Mortal Kombat) Lieutenant Commander Mic Brumby (JAG) Grapple (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) T. Ray (Deep Rising) Keefer (Men of War) Don (Gone in 60 Seconds) Blood (Hollywood Vampyr) Fraker (Assault on Devil’s Island) Cutter (Legion) Agent Riggs (Yesterday’s Target) Mickey Fuller (Illegal in Blue) Damien Bandera (Prey of the Jaguar) Scott (Dead Tides) Remembering Trevor Goddard on his birthday earlier this October. More than three decades after Mortal Kombat, his Kano remains one of the film’s most memorable performances and an interpretation that permanently helped shape the character fans know today. 🖤🐉 #trevogoddard #mortalkombat #jag #deeprising
