Not surprised. Me and my friend booked english speaking tour to the forbidden city and there was a Russian couple who couldn’t speak english but booked the wrong version of tour. Our tour guide asked me if I would be kind enough to translate all information to them and I said sure which I regretted by the end😶‍🌫️. Cause they treated me as if it was my direct responsibility to do that for them, like I get paid for it. Didn’t hear one “thank you” from them and husband/boyfriend wouldn’t even look at me when I was speaking lol. So weird and standoffish for no reason
