@lovinmaltaofficial: Bulgarian singer DARA is setting her sights on one of the biggest stages in the music industry, with her Eurovision 2026 winning entry ‘Bangaranga’ reportedly submitted for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards. According to EurovisionFun, citing The Grammy Guru, the singer has submitted her hit song for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, while also putting herself forward for Best New Artist. DARA made history earlier this year when she secured Bulgaria’s first-ever Eurovision victory in Vienna, collecting an impressive 516 points and finishing 173 points ahead of her nearest competitor. Since her Eurovision triumph, ‘Bangaranga’ has continued gaining international attention, entering the Billboard Global 200 at number 90 and reportedly surpassing 60 million streams on Spotify. However, the submissions do not mean DARA has officially received four Grammy nominations, as the Recording Academy must first complete its voting process. The nominations for the 2027 Grammy Awards are expected to be announced on 16th November, with the ceremony scheduled for 7th February 2027 in Los Angeles. Should DARA secure a nomination, it would mark another significant milestone for the Bulgarian star and further highlight Eurovision's ability to launch artists onto the global music scene.
