That’s the goal Shakira has set for 2028. 🌎 The singer, through her Barefoot Foundation, joined forces with Amazon Music, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Laboratoria to launch AWS Entrena Latinas, an initiative designed to open up new job opportunities for women in the region. The training will be free and in Spanish, and will focus on two areas that are increasingly in demand in the job market: artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The first phase will launch in Colombia, with students and mothers connected to the Barefoot Foundation. They will be able to access introductory courses and AWS certifications related to AI. ✨ Although the goal encompasses all of Latin America, it’s still unclear how and when women from other countries will be able to join.
