@zpolesy: Tesla unveiled the new Roadster on October 15, 2026, at a SpaceX test site near Waco, Texas. This was two weeks later than the planned October 1 date, which was postponed because of weather. It's a long-delayed follow-up to the 2017 concept, and Tesla has missed every delivery date it has targeted since. It comes in Performance, Thrust and Rocket versions. Tesla claims 0–60 mph in under 1.6, 0.9 and 0.59 seconds respectively, plus a top speed above 230 mph and more than 300 miles of range. In the demo, it hit 0–60 in 0.81 seconds and used SpaceX-style cold-gas thrusters to jump and flip. Musk said production starts in 2028, but no price was announced. Reservations require a $5,000 deposit followed by $45,000 within 10 days, and the thruster-equipped version reportedly needs $250,000 down.
