This is how I set it up on Wealthsimple so investing happens without me. 1. Go to the Invest tab 2. Scroll down to Recurring Investments 3. Tap Create a recurring investment 4. Search the ETF or stock you want to buy regularly 5. Tap Trade, then Buy 6. Enter your dollar amount and frequency 7. Choose your funding source 8. Hit Save, then Confirm plan That's it. You're automatically invested. It keeps buying on whatever schedule you picked, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, until you change it. The examples on screen are all in one ETFs like XEQT, ZEQT, VEQT and TEQT. Broadly diversified, 100% stocks, 0% bonds, low management fee. Not a recommendation. Do your own research and pick what fits you. Why I bother: historically, time in the market beats timing the market. Picking the fund is the easy part. Remembering to invest every single payday is where most people fall off, and a recurring buy takes that friction away. I'm 35, coast FI, and trying to retire by 45.
