i was diagnosed with diverticulosis over 10 years ago. i have had no symptoms until the last year. i had a ct scan a few months ago as i am in alot of pain mainly in lower back it showed severe colonic diverticulosis in the sigmoid. why am i in so much pain it wakes me up of a night. gp has refered me to gastro waiting list is until january 2027
