@harukamori.jp: Megyn Kelly is backing Shane Gillis amid growing criticism of his controversial Saturday Night Live monologue, arguing that the comedian was simply speaking honestly about women’s gym outfits. During Thursday’s episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the conservative media personality defended Gillis after his October 10 performance sparked backlash. The comedian joked that women now dress inappropriately at the gym, criticizing the bright, tight-fitting shorts some wear while working out. Kelly said clothing at gyms had changed since her years working as an aerobics instructor, arguing that people dressed differently in the past. She also insisted that Gillis was criticizing how some women dress rather than directly insulting every woman. Kelly described his comments as an opinion that people should be allowed to discuss openly. But the controversy has grown beyond the original joke. Several celebrities, including former SNL cast members Ego Nwodim and Cecily Strong, mocked or criticized Gillis on social media. Actor Dan Levy also publicly condemned the comedian’s remarks. Kelly pushed back against that criticism, arguing that describing someone's appearance is different from directly insulting the person. She also suggested that some of Gillis’ critics were overreacting. Ironically, Kelly herself has faced public criticism over her own clothing choices during high-profile appearances, including events where she wore outfits that attracted media attention. The debate has now become a wider argument about comedy, personal expression, and whether public figures should be held accountable for jokes about other people. \#MegynKelly #ShaneGillis #SNL #CelebrityNews #comedydebate

the same women crying and saying women should be able to wear what they want to the gym are the same who criticize those women who wear string bikinis to pools and beaches...why is it ok to feel confident and sexy at the gym but not at the beach or pool?
